Who is Jay Leighton?
A singer songwriting troubadour from Leeds/Bradford.
What have you been upto since recording ‘As The Sun Comes Up’?
Gigging everywhere and anywhere from Shepherd’s Bush Empire to McHughs in Belfast.
Why did you have a change of heart after questioning your career in music?
I sold all my guitars after the band I was in was dropped by Island then a few months later I was up late, unable to sleep and a documentary about Nick Drake came on. I recorded ‘Polaroids and Stills’ a few weeks later!
