Albert Mooneys Release new single, ‘She Gives Me Money’

Netherlands based time travellers release single, 'She Gives Me Money', taken from their debut album, 'This Never Happened in the Seventies'

Ever wonder how music's greatest hits actually came to be? Meet The Albert Mooneys.

It all started in a backyard shed in 1920. The band stumbled upon a hidden time machine and immediately jumped forward to 1958. There, they met a frustrated Eddie Cochran struggling with an unfinished track. The Mooneys handed him a folk tune they wrote—Eddie cranked up the tempo, renamed it ‘C’mon Everybody’, and rock n’ roll history was made!

Hooked on shaping the sonic landscape, The Mooneys spent decades jumping through time. They secretly co-wrote massive chart-toppers for the world’s biggest icons, Talking Heads, Status Quo, Iron Maiden, Queens of the Stone Age & Cliff Richard.  Every artist added their own signature flair, but none of those legendary tracks would exist without The Mooneys’ hidden genius.

For the first time ever, the band has gathered their finest cross-era masterpieces into one mind-bending vinyl record due for release sometime in the future, or the past? ‘This Never Happened in the Seventies’ is more than an album. It is a thrilling sonic journey through the past, present, and future of music.

The adventure does not end in the past. Because their time machine has no limits, The Mooneys have already travelled to the future to write tomorrow’s hits. Stream the first single, ‘She Gives Me Money’ today for an exclusive, world-first sneak peek at the massive chart-toppers of 2134, 2176, 2218, and 2525.
