Lineup and ticket announcements from Ards International Guitar Festival 2020

Showcasing talent from around the world. Ards and North Down Borough Council is pleased to announce the 2020 Ards International Guitar Festival programme.

Now in its 23rd year, Ards International Guitar Festival is a celebration of the world’s most popular instrument, bringing together some of the best guitarists from around Ireland, the United Kingdom and the world, with artists crossing a range of genres, showcasing their musical skills, talent and creativity.

Guest programmed by Northern Ireland musician Anthony Toner, the 2020 line up features artists from the United States of America and the Netherlands as well as a host of musicians from Northern Ireland and beyond. The ever-popular Guitar Clinics are back by popular demand allowing amateur musicians the chance to pick up helpful hints and tips from professional musicians.

Highlights of the 2020 festival include concerts by The Aquarelle Guitar Quartet, Ronnie Greer’s All-Star Blues Revue, Irish folk sensation Síomha, The Richard Nelson Jazz Quartet, and a photography exhibition by music journalist Stuart Bailie.

Ards International Guitar Festival runs from 1st – 5th April 2020. For more information on the full festival lineup and to buy tickets, visit Ards Guitar Festival.
