Following on from his two sold-out Belfast shows last year singer-songwriter and The Answer frontman, Cormac Neeson has announced his album release show will take place at The Black Box, Belfast in May 2019.
He’s currently promoting the release of his new single, ‘Broken Wing’, from his forthcoming 2019 debut album, ‘White Feather’ due for release on 26th April 2019.
Commenting on the track, he says:
I’ve never written a song like Broken Wing before in my life. Even though I’ve heard it hundreds of times now, I still get emotional every time I sing or hear it back because of just how relevant the lyric is to my life and my family’s life; where we’ve been and where we’re going. It’s my hope that maybe when people hear this song they can relate to the message or at least give some thought as to what it’s about.
To support the single, Neeson will also be making available a short mini documentary about the making of ‘Broken Wing’ during which he himself gets a tattoo of the extra chromosome 21 that forms the genetic ID of Downs Syndrome and was recently announced as the Ambassador for Mencap NI.
Cormac Nesson plays Belfast’s Black Box on Friday 24th May 2019. Tickets available from the 12th February 2019 via Ticketmaster and Shine.
