The Scottish Alt-bluesman today released a new live video, 'Still Friends' which will also be the title of his forthcoming acoustic album.
The video was recorded at a sell out show in The Voodoo Rooms in Edinburgh and highlights Arcari’s skills as a songwriter and player.
The new album, ‘Still Friends’ will be his eighth album and will be funded by a Kickstarter campaign as Arcari explains:
This, my eighth album and to be titled ‘Still Friends’, will be a solo acoustic album featuring around 14 (there may be a track or two more or less, depending on run time of the final recordings…vinyl has a limit before quality starts to suffer) original self-penned tracks.
The tracks are all written – and most have been released before in other forms (live/with other musicians/before they were really ready/demo) or have not been – or are no longer – available on any physical format. The songs will be recorded through February and produced by myself in my home studio – not just to keep costs at a minimum, but also to allow me the time to make sure everything sounds the way it should without the time constraints of commercial recording facilities.
If the project is funded, there will be a limited edition Kickstarter exclusive of just 50 copies on transparent violet/black marbled vinyl and a limited edition of 450 copies on transparent violet vinyl.
To make things more interesting backers can include an exclusive pin (badge/brooch/whatever you wanna call it). These will be exclusive to backers of this Kickstarter project.
And if you don’t use vinyl, but still want to support the project, a digital album discography is also available.
In addition there is another extremely limited reward – a run of just ten specially designed and made (by your truly) – brass coin marking the the album engraved with the backer’s name, serial number and my signature.
And if you like the live experience, I have four house/private concert packages available too!!!
