Bluesman Guy Davis has just announced a Belfast show.
Tuesday 11th August will see Davis grace the stage of The Real Music Club at The Errigle Inn on Belfast’s Ormeau Road. The world renowned blues player takes his inspiration from artists such as Blind Willie McTell, Mississippi John Hurt, and Buddy Guy. Davis is more than just a singer of songs though. He’s a storyteller, a raconteur and a blues historian. He has dedicated his career to reviving the old blues songs and tales of his heroes and sharing their stories.
Among his many fans he can list high profile artists such as: Ian Anderson (Jethro Tull), Jackson Browne, Maya Angelou and Jessica Lange.
