Without doubt one of the highlights of the Folk & Tumble summer festival season of 2014 was seeing legendary Irish folk rockers Horslips on the summer Solstice at Dunluce Castle. So, naturally we are delighted to hear that City of Rhythms Promotions has just booked them to return to one of Belfast’s most historic and prestigious venues this October.
Horlisps along with the late great Rory Gallagher were one of the few acts who regularly played in Northern Ireland during the troubles, and in October 1980 they played their final show there before a tentative reunion in 2004 which lead to further live shows in 2009 and beyond.
Support on Sunday 26th October will be provided by Belfast’s own 70’s punk legends the Ex Producers. Tickets are available online now.
