Cameron’s debut album, 'Sad-Eyed Lonesome Lady', made the long-list for the Polaris Music Prize 2015. Her follow-up album, 'Daybreak Over Jackson Street', received critical acclaim worldwide. 'Blood Moon', her third album, is destined to continue the run of critical acclaim.

Opening with the title track, the listener is taken on an ethereal music journey of nostalgia through youthful trips and experiences shared with former friends and loved ones.

Beautifully produced the music on ‘Blood Moon’ is sensitively layered to suit Camreon’s lyrics especially the way they complement each other perfectly on ‘Rain’.  Sonically the sound harks back to the early days of the Buckingham/Nicks Fleetwood Mac line up.  In fact, ‘Changes’, could be Cameron’s very own ‘Landslide’.

Never one to shy away from social topics the haunting ‘Seventeen’ tackles police brutality head on.  ‘Summer Song’ is radio friendly up-tempo American based harmony-soaked rocker that echoes the music of the Mamas and The Papas.   The song also showcases Cameron’s considerable guitar playing skills.

Marking a welcome return of the popular Canadian artist, ‘Blood Moon’ takes Steph Cameron’s to work to a new level of maturity both musically and lyrically.
