May 2018, sees Beans on Toast take to the road for a UK tour with a difference. Rather than the pubs and clubs, we expect such an artist to grace, this run of shows will see Beans On Toast perform in seated venues and theatres across the country. The nights will be packed with love songs, protest songs, and drinking songs. As always, these will be interwoven with stories and tales of adventures on the road.

Beans on Toast

The ‘Sitting On A Chair’ tour is something of a celebration for Beans On Toast. It marks the release of his first book ‘Drunk Folk Stories’; ten short true tales of a life well lived featuring nights with Billy Bragg, Banksy, and the Cookie Monster with international adventures from Brixton to the Bahamas.

Published the book on 1st May 2018 also coincides with the re-release of his whopping 50-track debut album ‘Standing On A Chair’. The record featured the production skills of Mumford and Sons’ Ben Lovett, cameos from Frank Turner, Justin Young, and Emmy The Great and is packed full of fan favourites such as ‘MDMAmazing’, ‘The Price Of Rice’, and ‘Don’t Believe The Bullshit’.

Nine years might seem a strange anniversary to celebrate but when he started putting these plans together Beans thought it had been 10 years. But he thought fuck it and went ahead with it anyway. Such is his way.
