Bruce Springsteen’s The River Tour comes to the UK

The Boss is back! Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band return for a short stint of UK shows in May and June. ‘The River Tour’ is winding its way through North America and reaches the UK on 25th May to coincide with the release of ‘The Ties That Bind: The River Collection’, a beautiful and comprehensive look back at the original 1980 ‘The River’ album and tour.

That incarnation of The E Street Band were renowned for their marathon four hour performances and thirty six years later nothing has changed. The current lineup boats Roy Bittan and Charlie Giordano on keys, Nils Lofgren, Stevie Van Zandt and Patti Scialfa on guitar and vocals, Garry Tallent on bass, Max Weinberg on drums with Soozie Tyrell on violin, guitar and vocals and last but not least ‘The Big Man’s’ nephew Jake Clemons on the sax.

Tickets go on-sale at 9am on Thursday 25th February.
