Oh, we didn’t just clickbait did we? Let’s clear this up. You can’t join the band sadly. They’ve already got songwriter Joe Innes, Charlie Farncombe, Patrick Degenhardt, Lynn Roberts, Mark Higgins and Amy Smith. What you can join is their new Indie GoGo crowdfunding campaign to help get what’s shaping up to be a superb debut album out.
Joe Innes and the Cavalcade have been featured on BBC Radio 6, BBC Radio 1, The NME and The Line of Best Fit. They’ve played Cambridge Folk Festival, Secret Garden Party and even The Royal Albert Hall and all that on top of working full-time jobs and hitting the studio.
Recording is underway and the Cavalcade hope to have the finished product with us by the end of 2016. We were huge fans of 2014’s ‘Brian, I’m A Genius Too’ EP and can’t wait to hear some new material from the London folksters. In the meantime, you can listen to ‘Moscow’ from the Sofar Sessions below.
