One of the finest new country voices to come out of the United States, Margo Price has announced a handful of performances in London to showcase her upcoming album ‘Midwest Farmer’s Daughter’.
The much-anticipated debut record comes out on Jack White’s label, Third Man, on 15th April. This goes to highlight the regard Price is held in amongst her peers as she’s the first country act to make it on the label’s roster.
Already announced to play Brighton’s The Great Escape festival, Margo has now announced three live shows in London to accompany the launch of the album.
19th May 2016 | Rough Trade East | London | England |
20th-21st May 2016 | The Great Escape | Brighton | England |
23rd May 2016 | The Borderline | London | England |
24th May 2016 | The Social | London | England |
Margo Price is a dynamic new voice in the classic country style. Cut from the cloth of Patsy Cline and Tammy Wynette, her work really hits home with no punches pulled. The loss of the family farm, death, hardships, brushes with the law and dalliances with the bottle all feature on what looks to be one of the most honest country records of 2016.
