Having toured with Mercury Rev and Jim Sclavunos, and after the release of her take on 'November Rain' with Mark Lanegan, Nicole Atkins is bound for the UK.

Nashville-based vocalist and songwriter Nicole Atkins returns to the United Kingdom in April. This short run of headline shows follows successful tours with Mercury Rev and with Jim Sclavunos of The Bad Seeds.

If you’re new to the music of Nicole Atkins, you could do worse than check out her recent re-working of Guns’n’Roses’ ‘November Rain’. Recorded with Mark Lanegan, the rock ballad has become something of a honky-tonk slow-dance.

Atkins’ soft, sweet tones and Lanegan’s gruff baritone burn like a late night bourbon. The results are just as pleasant and moreish.
