When Patrick Damoglou Smyth, or simply just Pat Dam Smyth to you or I, embarks on a homecoming tour those shows could be just about anywhere. He’s always been a man of the road and he’s taken his collection of finely honed thoughts on travel, love and loss all over the map from his hometown of Belfast to London via Dublin, Liverpool and Los Angeles to name merely a few of the stops along the way.
His critically acclaimed album ‘The Great Divide’ has been out for a couple of years now and recently he’s been back in the studio and back on the road with drummer and producer Chris McComish working on a new batch of songs. He’s promised influences of hip-hop, dirty blues, punk, R&B and folk and he’ll be taking the show on the road for that homecoming tour of sorts later this month.
