Americana folk trio Red Molly have announced their first ever tour of the UK and Ireland scheduled for October 2014 in support of their latest release ‘The Red Album’. Heartbreaking lyricism, subtle instrumentation and delightful harmonies have become the trademark of the group, which features the voices and multi instrumental talents of Laurie MacAllister, Abbie Gardner and Molly Venter.
Released earlier this year, ‘The Red ALbum’ marks a distinct shift towards the edgier, grittier side of Americana after ten years in the business and somewhere in the region of a thousand shows on the road. Having opened shows for the legendary Willie Nelson before taking to the studio in 2014 with producer Ken Coomer (Wilco/Uncle Tupelo), this is one act you won’t want to pass up on as they roll through town.
