There’s still a month to go before this great lineup of The Emerald Armada, Hurdles and Freaks take to the stage in The Limelight for Red Rock 2014, but it’s in aid of a great cause – Northern Ireland Chest Heart & Stroke – so you could do worse than get some tickets in advance as it looks set to be a very busy night down the front.
Northern Ireland Chest Heart and Stroke is the local charity for the care and prevention of chest, heart and stroke illnesses. Northern Ireland has a bad reputation when it comes to heart disease and related problems and these guys’ vision is one where we can all live life to the full. They operate over four areas: care services, prevention and health promotion, research and policies. All the money raised at Red Rock 2014 and from all other Northern Ireland based initiatives is spent in Northern Ireland.
Red Rock 2014 is a night not to be missed with some of Northern Ireland’s most essential new listening taking the stage from the alternative sounds of Strabane’s Freaks, to the choppy indie-pop of Hurdles and ending with a stomping, melodic hoedown at the hands of The Emerald Armada.
Red Rock 2014 takes place in Belfast’s The Limelight 2 on Wednesday 1st October 2014, doors are at 8pm and tickets are only £7… We’ll see you there yeah!?
