We love music. You know that. We love playing it, listening to it, promoting it and helping other people do all those things better.
To that end, we’ve been long-time supporters of the Oh Yeah Music Centre in Belfast and this year they’re embarking on an ambitious new project in association with Arthur Guinness Projects.
Oh, we mentioned we love Guinness too, right?
The Arthur Guinness Projects help to nurture Irish talent and creativity. They’re taking great ideas and helping form a reality. At the time of writing there are currently over 670 listed projects on their website.
Oh Yeah Radio aims to be the the latest development from Belfast’s award-winning music centre. An online resource for the wonderful music that surrounds us. The chance for young acts to get their songs to an international audience. A showcase for new presenter talent and a mentoring scheme to bring through new producers, station managers and assistants, news writers, editors and more.

It sounds like a great project to us and even has the backing of Radio One’s Northern Irish DJ Phil Taggart.
Could everyone take a sec and vote for the @OhYeahCentre – they are looking funding to start their own radio station. http://t.co/di5UPlAfik
