Those delectably voiced ladies of The Staves are among a whole heap of top acts confirmed for this year’s Cambridge Folk Festival
Having toured extensively in support of their 2012 release ‘Dead & Born & Grown’ including warming up Bon Iver in the UK and Ireland, it seems natural that they would find a home at the UK’s best known folk music festival. Also announced to date are Thea Gilmore, Emily Barker & The Red Clay Halo, The Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band and Valerie June.
The Cambridge Folk Festival promotes international headline artists and young, emerging acts on four stages. Family friendly and a must for music fans, the festival offers something for everyone with street theatre, music workshops and sessions, ceilidhs, a youth area, internet café, kids’ entertainment and real ale bars for us slightly older folk fans.
Full Festival: £126
Thursday: £20
Friday: £45
Saturday: £55
Sunday: £55
Cambridge Folk Festival takes place from the 25 to the 28th July 2013 at Cherry Hinton Hall, Cambridge.
