This Is The Kit Tour

English indie folk band This Is The Kit announce a series of dates across the UK and Ireland on a headlining tour having supported the likes of The National.

This is the kit are are alternative folk group formed in the mid 2000s fronted by Kate Stables. They feature a changeable lineup of talented musicians and vocalists including The Liftmen and Rozi Plain and make a promise that if you think you don’t like banjos, well, they’ll prove you wrong.

Sunday Best Records were first to make us aware of the incredible yet unassuming talent of This Is The Kit putting out their singles ‘Two Wooden Spoons’ and ‘Come A Cropper’ in 2006. Since then, the band have released two full length album and are currently working on a third. On the road they’ve supported likes of The National and Sharon Van Etten.
