Zooey and M. Ward are back. Somewhere between the hipster-kitsch of Channel 4’s ‘New Girl’ and looking grumpy at The Grammys, the ubiquitous Miss Deschannel has found time to return to the studio.
The latest offering entitled ‘Volume 3’ will be with us on 7th May but to tide us over until then, the duo have released the charming lead track ‘I Could’ve Been Your Girl’. It’s everything we’ve come to expect from She and Him, classic pop hooks, subtle country twang and delectable vocals. There’s a real feeling that maybe, just maybe, there’s a new album, there’s an innocent 1950s romance and a little glimmer of summer on the way.
