Evangeline – Admiral Fallow

Scottish indie-folk act Admiral Fallow return with new material, their first since 2012's 'Tree Bursts in Snow' and 'Evangeline' heralds a change in direction.

It’s been almost three years since Glasgow’s Admiral Fallow released ‘Tree Bursts In Snow’ and 2015 will see a new, as yet untitled, album surface.

The band premiered ‘Evangeline’ last month and the first cut from the new album marks a departure from the standard folk leanings that graced their first two records. Keys and synths are to the fore, laid down in an electronica bed with trademark Admiral Fallow harmonies and melodies laced throughout.

Filmed by Tom Harrison, the video was made during the recording of the new album, which is due for release later in 2015 and will be promoted by three intimate shows and a slot at The Great Escape Festival in Brighton.
