We’ve been following the career of Basia Bulat way back since the release of ‘Oh My Darling’, watching and listening as the songwriting has gone from strength to strength. With the release of this latest single ‘Infamous’ that looks set to continue. You can tell there are influences from previous touring mates like Arcade Fire and The National. It’s a rhythmic, pounding piece of pop with a little backbeat shuffle and that unmistakable Bulat vocal delivery. Recorded far from home in Kentucky with Jim James of My Morning Jacket, ‘Infamous’ is the first teaser from ‘Good Advice’, which is due for release on 12th February 2016.
