Nominated for Juno and Polaris Prizes, Canadian Basia Bulat has unveiled ‘Long Goodbye’ as the latest single from the current Jim James produced album ‘Good Advice’. The record’s received rave reviews across the board and has begun something of a revival for Bulat with its fresh new poppier sound and retained distinctive soulful vocal. ‘Long Goodbye’ is a real thumping tune in contrast to Bulat’s earlier work. This is as close as we’ve come yet to ‘Born To Run’ era Springsteen and it’s no bad place to be. Basia Bulat is currently on the road in the middle of a US tour, which stopped by SXSW last week and is UK bound in April.
