Who is Danny and the Champions of the World?

Danny Wilson formed Danny and the Champions of the World in London back in 2007 and since then they’ve been pumping out great folk, rock and soul infused anthems and gigging relentlessly. The band name is a clear hat tip to the Roald Dahl novel and in the music you can hear influences ranging from the Felice Brothers to Van Morrison.

The good news from Danny and the Champions of the World is that a new live album will be available from 29th September, entitled ‘Live Champs!’.
