Boasting a Phil Spector like brass section, that sleazy slow-dance Shakin’ Stevens bass line and laden with references from mulled wine to Mumford and Marling, it’s a feel-good festive hit.
The single will be available from 7th December and the band will be celebrating the occasion with a special show in St Luke’s Church, Holloway the following night. Today’s the first acceptable day to listen to a Christmas record so indulge and be content that Joe and the guys already have a New Year’s Resolution to bring us a full-length LP early in 2016.
