There’s a chill in the air and an icy breeze cutting through the rain. Winter is definitely here and as November ends, Scotland celebrates St. Andrew’s Day. What better way to warm your bones than with the sultry sound of some Scots folk and indie tunes? I’ve long been a fan of Scottish music. There’s a very distinct sound that can be heard in everything from the plastic pop of Wet Wet Wet to the raucous indie folk of Frightened Rabbit. Here are some of our favourite tracks from the northernmost reaches of the United Kingdom that have been released in 2014 and 2015.
